XXXVIII CONVOCATION 2006

Finally the long awaited day for my batch Btech guys was here. As they were dressed in the gowns and the mortarboards, I had to stay back and it sucked. For a moment, felt that it has been one of the worst decisions in my life to go for a dual degree course, choosing to stay here for one extra year. I didnt want to face the awesome atmosphere that was there out on the campus - slightly overcast, cool breeze, the insti flags flanged by the roads and not to forget the welcoming banners that had 'XXXVIII CONVOCATION - 2006' written over them. Frankly speaking, to think that out of the 22 wingies only 7 were passing out today, actually helped. Atleast I am not alone altogether :) Later, had lots of gossip with pals and had an outing which rocked.
Now, as I hold the yearbook of the Y2 batch, it's so hard to stop thinking about the 4 years I spent here at this beautiful place.
I will stop this here and save those memories for next year when I too will go out in the real world. For now, its better to accept the fact that I am lucky to have an extra year to celebrate before I step into that hardcore life, coz vacationing is all that we do here :-) Moreover, I now am a "paid official"! [:-P] What more could one ask for for all the fun that he has ;-)
