Nov 25, Kolkata match, it was not expected of the crowd to breath a relief when Dravid got out. Typical example of regionalism which is probably the biggest reason why India, with this much of population so as to be theoritically capable of sending in 10 teams 5 times stronger than the strongest team, is unable to hold number 2 spot in world cricket. Well the assumption that population is directly propotional to number of teams times strength might be somewhat vague, but you got my point. ;)
I aint a cricket fan to care to comment on the how Indian team stands today. This is also not about the middle (injured?) finger that Mr Greg showed in reply to crowd's behaviour.
Its that after finding out about the incident, I later realised how these obscene remarks and gestures are losing their profanity as they continue to get more into our common do how. Is it not merely a style to include an F word in every clause of every setence that we speak? Or is it meant to add an impact to how strongly we feel about things! And if that is the case, I guess something has made us too sensitive to feel too strongly about about too many things.
Whatever it is, wikipedia says ".... is a strong and generally provocative swearword in Modern English and is one of the best-known vulgarism in the English-speaking world". 'Vulgarism', and that too BEST KNOWN!. Well this does mean something.
Now it is better, not to try to go deeper into the literal meaning of the word or the symbolic meaning of the gesture coz I dont want to flirt with the decency line. But arent we "learned" members of the society supposed to give a small thought about what we speak. Of course, one can always say that they never mean anything personal or general. But then doesnt this mean that we ourselves dont give value to what we say.!?

Synchronicity-zero five
now i know why you wanna hate me
cause hate is all the world has even seen lately
You can find as many number of descriptions of a rock concert as the number of spectators u meet, here are my views on how it feels to me.
Well this was not my first sychronicity. Attended it with even more enthu last year because that was my first proper one, thats because it was the first one after I had tasted wrok. Standing less than 6 inches from speakers, over two and a half times your height and more than five times your width is simply amazing. It surprises me, how my ears, that cannot stand that painful noise of todays hindi pops, adapt themselves so well to enjoy the wind that comes out of those speakers roaring at odd 120 dB. At that, ears become comfortably numb :) and you actually feel the vibrations in your body. And thats how you hear sound.
(Just to tell, I am not a "high volume, thrash metal" guy but everything goes just so well when its a concert).
You forget about those 400 pretty girls roaming around in the campus which happens only once a year ;). You forget that when the following day, you will try to wake up, your neck will just refuse to support your head. You are in a different place. Many of the songs, you might be hearing for the first time; but does that matter?
Also witnessed Kavi Sammelan yesterday. We had kavis that I remember used to come on doordarshan kavi sammelan programs long time back. It was just great to hear the real quality humour thats rarely available :). Not to forget the oj ras kavitayein by one and shringar ones by another. "angrezi mein serve karein. aur hindi pe garv karein !!" :)
Overall, it rocked.
Now my neck too is giving up so closing.

Just watched episodes 93, 94, 95-96 of Naruto, again. This rocks..so hard. The first time it got this exciting for me was during episodes 15-16, the Sharingan limit was shown released. This time it gets way way higher.
Thats it for now. Got so much more to write about anime stuff but shall close this post with this quote by Jiraiya

The most important talent for a ninja to have isnt his number of techniques. The most important thing is...the guts never to give up!

What does pain feel like? I've never been hurt before, so I was wondering how it felt... Hey, am I injured? I'm not bleeding but my chest has been acting wierd... It's very uncomfortable and it really hurts.
Flesh wounds bleed, and they may seem painful... But as time goes by, the pain eventually disappears. And if you use medicine, the wounds will heal even faster. But tricky wounds are the ones in your heart. Those are difficult to heal. A wound of the heart is different from a flesh wound. Unlike the flesh wounds, there are no ointments to heal it, and there are times when they never heal. But there is one thing that can heal a wound of the heart and it is a troublesome medicine. And you can only recieve it from another person.

...Under Construction
Well, its been quite some time since I was planning to start a blog, but never was interested enough to type it. Even more uninteresting is to create account somewhere, filling in the same old stuff.
Having a quiz tomorrow, every departmental junta would ask "quiz ke liye mag liya !?". Now when six sememesters have passed, it doesnt bother me any more if there is a small change in the proceedings of the following lecture, in the form of a 10-15 minutes quiz or anything like that. Still it is a little awkward if you dont even have a look in the lecture notes in the form of slides that instructor mailed. Studying on computer is something which I am not very good at. All the time, something or the other would keep coming up in front of me; the result of which is in front of you in the form of this just another blog.
I wonder when will I visit this again to post something new. Will it be the next quiz, or the next midsem or may be not before the endsem.
And about the title, I am more into thinking then reading or writing (or acting). So you will hardly find anything new and interesting here. Hence this page shall always remain "Under Construction". There is so much to be put in but not enough time because of "lack of" tests and exams!
